Programs

Initial Assessment

I offer a comprehensive land and water based assessment, including postural, movement and gait analysis. Your information from my interview and assessment will help me determine your strengths and limitations, what your lifestyle is like and how you function in your daily life. I help you set your goals for increased function and ability and lifestyle changes.

Physiotherapy

Based on the goals you have set for yourself, I will provide you with a physical therapy program that will help you achieve these goals. The frequency and duration of therapy depends on each individual.

I will provide you with an exercise program that you can do at home or in a gym. I will explain all you need to know about your body, your posture and the way you move. I provide you with insight and purpose for each exercise so you can become your own bio-mechanical expert and prevent injuries in the future.

Sessions are 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Programs range from 4-12 weeks, one or two sessions per week.

Maintenance programs range from one session a week to one session per month.

Aqua Physiotherapy

Programs in the water range from 6 – 8 weeks, with one or two sessions weekly. The duration of a session isĀ 30 or 60 minutes. I will provide you with a water-based exercise program that you can work on independently. The sessions will be used to adjust and increase your exercises, or to provide you with hands on therapy.

Pool memberships are available as well, giving you access to classes such as Ai Chi (water Tai Chi) and Woga (water Yoga). You will have daily access to the pool and it includes use of the Infrared sauna.
